You can use Windows Media Player to copy (rip) music from your CDs. just upgraded yours, or bought a new PC with a capacious hard drive, you might want to consider using it to store any files you have stashed on CD or DVD. CDs and DVDs can take up enormous amounts of space, so why not copy their contents to your hard drive and keep the originals out of sight?. Do one of the following: Import all songs on the CD. If you don't see info for the CD, click the CD button near the top left of the iTunes window. Insert an audio CD into your computer's CD or DVD drive, or an external drive that's connected to your computer. Import songs from CDs into your iTunes library.
